High School Updates 9-24-18

Calendar Addition/Changes

Concordia Christian Academy will once again host a PSAT/NMSQT test day for all freshmen, sophomores and juniors on October 24, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. This provides an excellent opportunity for our students to practice for the SAT. Seniors have the day off, and school is dismissed promptly at noon.

The National Honor Society Induction has been changed from October 18 to October 25. Please join us in our newly remodeled Multipurpose Room downstairs for this special ceremony at 7 p.m.

Dual Enrollment Scholarship Opportunity

Concordia Christian Academy has received a generous grant from the Neeb Family Foundation that will completely cover the tuition cost for students who wish to seek dual enrollment at Faith International or any other college currently offering dual enrollment opportunities. If you wish to take advantage of this tremendous gift, please see Mrs. Gibelyou.

Dinner Auction Gift Card Drive

CCA is holding a gift card drive for high school students to support the Dinner Auction. Students who bring in gift cards will be entered into a drawing for some great prizes. You will receive one entry for every $10 of gift cards donated!

Drop off your gift cards in the office and enter the drawing by putting your name on a piece of paper and dropping it into the box. The gift card drive will run through Monday, October 8. Student winners’ names will be drawn the following week.

*You might consider using the Scrip online purchasing option. See the newsletter for more information.

High School Volleyball Help

The VLT is looking for anyone able to assist with ticketing and concessions at the girls volleyball home games. All volunteer positions are in the gym, so you can watch the game while helping out the Hawks! High schoolers looking for service hours are encouraged to sign up. Click this link for dates and available volunteer positions.
