Craig Neumiller

High School Teacher - Religion + Geography

University: Concordia University, Portland

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Christian Education

Craig Neumiller has been on the staff at CCA since 2005. He began his time of service here as a part time teacher of religion classes. His status became full-time when the school called him as half time Admissions Director and half time religion teacher. Staff, student, and community needs have had him moving in and out of various roles ever since. Currently he serves students as an academic advisor and religion teacher.

Craig has served many years as the Director of Christian Education in several Lutheran churches in the areas of Youth Ministry, cradle to grave Educational programs, and Music Ministry. These experiences surface at CCA as he serves as the Chair of the Religion Department and oversees the Worship Team, which leads music for chapel each week. He has also been involved with assistant coaching various sports programs over the years.

Craig has been married to Lynette, they share a love for music which explains Lynette’s position as the CCA choir accompanist. They have two children; Erica and Carsten.

With what time Craig has outside of CCA activities, he enjoys reading theology, biography, and fiction/fantasy books, watching classic movies, tatting and playing his guitar or mandolin. He shares nearly all of these activities with family or friends, since being with, relating to, and enjoying people is what he sees as God’s purpose for his life in Christ.
