CCA Bulletin 10.16.22

Principal's Corner

What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me–practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Philippians 4:9

Dear Families,

This week is a short one! We are in school tomorrow and Tuesday, then students have the rest of the week off while teachers attend the Northwest District Educators Conference. Did you know that the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod has the second largest private Christian education system in the U.S. and Asia? The LCMS serves over 142,000 students in 1,885 schools nationwide. There are nearly 200 schools in Asia; three are international.

Each year, the Northwest District of the LCMS gathers at the Seaside Convention Center for two days of workshops that cover best practices for Lutheran Educators. Teachers and administrators from all over the district worship, learn, strategize, and socialize together as one body in Christ. It is both energizing and rejuvenating, and we always return feeling encouraged and recommitted to our calling.

We look forward to seeing our students back for a full week of school on October 24. There will be no bulletin on Sunday, October 23; however, our Board of Directors will be sending out a Strategic Planning update on the 24th. Please watch for it, as it will contain exciting information regarding CCA’s plan for the future!

In Christ,

Thanks to Mr. Carnahan for organizing and tabulating the results for Student Council. He will serve as the supervisor for this important group of young leaders.
