Dear Parents,
What a fabulous first week we have had! I have been in classrooms where learning and growing is happening and students are encouraged that at CCA mistakes are part of the learning process. We had a great time at the HS Retreat at Black Diamond, check out our social media to see the highlights!
Just a note on school communications. Communications come directly from administration, by name, or through our school information system, educate@tads.com. Please add this to your contacts so it doesn’t go to your spam folder.
This bulletin is published every week and comes out at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning. Cindy Bowers sends it out with the subject line CCA Bulletin. Additionally, each K8 teacher sends out a classroom newsletter on Fridays through Educate.
We are setting up a parent volunteer group and an email will go out next week with details on our first meeting. If you would like to be a part of that please email Libby Glasser Libby.Glasser@ccatacoma.org
Below is a Save the Date for our annual Vision Builders Gala. Vision Builders is a group of people passionate about the education CCA offers. Their goal is to come together to raise funds for financial aid so families are able to join CCA who otherwise would not be able to. Please spread the word to community members who may want to participate. Reach out to Samantha Hanson at Samantha.Hanson@ccatacoma.org for more details.
Please note upcoming events: student pictures are this week and we have a half day dismissal for fair day on Friday!
We consider it an awesome responsibility and privilege to partner with you in your children’s education. Thank you for entrusting them to us!
With Joy,
Halle Warmbier
