Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
Dear Parents,
At CCA, the safety and well-being of our students are our top priority. We know you trust us to provide an excellent education, as well as a safe and caring environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. As part of our ongoing commitment to protect and nurture our school community, Concordia is introducing a new layer of protection this year with the SaferWatch safety platform.
SaferWatch is a powerful, user-friendly safety app that enables schools to communicate and respond more effectively in emergencies. With SaferWatch, help is only a tap away. Staff can send instant alerts to the right people, allowing our team to respond quickly — whether it’s a medical emergency, the need for additional support on campus, or a more urgent safety concern, such as an intruder. The system also connects directly with local first responders, ensuring that emergency services are notified and can take action promptly when every second counts.
By combining thoughtful response planning, active live and camera monitoring, and locked, coded outside doors with SaferWatch’s real-time communication and rapid response features, CCA is making it easier than ever to protect students and staff and ensure help is always close at hand.
For families, this means greater confidence in knowing that the school is utilizing advanced tools and technology to protect our children and that first responders can be reached immediately when needed. SaferWatch connects everyone — administrators, teachers, and emergency services — on one unified safety platform. It enables our team to pinpoint the exact location of an emergency or threat on our campus or in chapel with the touch of a button.
Parents and guardians can learn more about Concordia’s commitment to student safety and the SaferWatch technology helping protect our campus at SaferWatchApp.com.
Please download the app and search for our school. This will connect you with our communications in case of an emergency or school closure due to inclement weather conditions.
