So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. Romans 14: 19
Dear Parents,
At CCA, we believe strongly that we are partners with you in the education of our children. That’s why effective communication is a top priority for us. This weekly bulletin is one of the ways we communicate with you to keep you informed of everything happening on our campus and events that are coming up.
In the next two weeks, we are launching two new ways to communicate. The first one is a new app called Parentapps that will make our communications more direct by coming to you on your phone. Once we launch by email, you will accept the invitation, download the app, and find all future communications there.
Want to know what is coming up? Go to our calendar. It will be available as a year-at-a-glance PDF and also linked to our website calendar that is constantly updated. Want to see the most recent class newsletter? Find it on the app! Want to communicate with your child’s teacher? Send a direct message through the app. Parentapps allows parents to communicate with CCA teachers and staff, send messages, report absences, and more! Future weekly school bulletins will also be linked to the app.
The second new communication tool is called ParentPulse. Going forward, each parent in our school will receive an invitation every few months to respond to a short survey. These surveys will be staggered – parents will receive the invitations via e-mail or text at different times.
We simply ask that you’d take five minutes to complete the survey. Many schools only send one (longer) survey each year, but we want to capture your thoughts and feelings in shorter surveys – and at multiple points over the year – so we can understand how things are evolving and how we can best adapt. Please be on the lookout for an e-mail or text from ParentPulse. The subject line will clearly identify Concordia Christian Academy.
The information you provide is collected solely for our analysis, and your personal contact information will not be used or shared by ParentPulse. There is also an option at the end of the survey to submit your responses anonymously.
Thank you for partnering with us in our students’ education! Questions? Call or email me anytime.
In Christ,
Sherrie Gibelyou

CCA parent and pastor Taeler Morgan has offered to lead a parent book club for this book! While Taeler and her husband have been committed to protecting their kids with mindful tech practices, they found this book was helpful in solidifying their comittment to delay smartphones and limit screen time.
Please email Sherrie Gibelyou if you are interested in this opportunity!
