Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. Ecclesiastes 4:9
Dear Families,
I enjoyed seeing so many of you at our parent meetings last Monday and Wednesday, and I deeply appreciate your partnership with us. Our students greatly benefit from knowing and seeing that home and school are working together for their success.
If you missed the meeting and have not yet viewed the PowerPoint and signed the acknowledgment, please do so this week. We would like to have all forms completed no later than Wednesday, September 20.
One of the important agenda items covered during our meetings is the Volunteer Parent Team (VLT). We have a small group of dedicated ladies who shoulder much of the responsibility of helping with sports and social events. We need to widen that circle of willing hands! Our K-8 meeting had a solid response to this request, but our high school still needs more parents to volunteer at sporting events. We have positions to fill both immediately and extending through May. Please prayerfully consider signing up for several of these after-school activities. You can call our office, and Libby will put you in touch with Rob Sullivan, Athletic Director.
Middle school parents, especially 8th grade parents, one good way to get a glimpse of sports at the high school level is to volunteer for concessions or ticket sales at a game. Consider bringing your 8th grader to help you!
Thanks for making CCA the great place it is for students and families. We appreciate your partnership.
In Christ,
Sherrie Gibelyou

Our covered play area is well on its way to becoming reality. Permits have been submitted, and we hope to begin site prep next month. Our structure will have a blacktop foundation for all kinds of play. It will cover a 40′ x 60′ area between our 300 and 400 Buildings. Many thanks to all of the people who raised their paddles to support this at our spring auction! All of our K-12 students will benefit from this awesome addition to our campus.
