And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Revelation 21: 4-5
Dear Families,
Welcome to a brand new school year! At our barbeque last Tuesday, I LOVED seeing our gym full of excited faces as so many new students mingled with those returning from last year. I tell our students in the first chapel of every school year how much I enjoy the first days of school – and the very first day is my favorite! There is something about a new school year that stirs excitement and anticipation and holds the promise of a new beginning.
Our school theme this year is “Connected,” anchored by John 15: 1-5. The familiar imagery of the verse describes Jesus as the vine and all of us as His branches. With Him, we produce much fruit. When I think of being connected, I picture a puzzle with Jesus at the center of all we do. In fact, we are in the process of building a puzzle with all of our names surrounding the theme this year. Watch for it in the hallway of the 300 Building in the days ahead.
I look forward to seeing all of you at our parent meetings this week. K-8 parents will attend on Monday (tomorrow) at 6:30 p.m. High School parents will attend the meeting on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Both meetings are in our gym. This will give us a chance to go through some important information about the school year. We will have a document for you to sign regarding the information in our handbook and technology policy.
Communication is very important to me, and I view us as partners in our children’s education. I am available to you throughout the day and into the evening. I publish my cellphone on every piece of information that I send out and welcome your questions or concerns up to 9:00 p.m. My office door is always open, so please feel free to stop in when you are on campus.
In Christ,

Our covered play area is well on its way to becoming reality. Permits have been submitted, and we hope to begin site prep next month. Our structure will have a blacktop foundation for all kinds of play. It will cover a 40′ x 60′ area between our 300 and 400 Buildings. Many thanks to all of the people who raised their paddles to support this at our spring auction! All of our K-12 students will benefit from this awesome addition to our campus.
