Principal's Corner

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

Dear Parents,

Our Jog-A-Thon last week could not have gone better! The sky was clear and sunny with just a slight breeze. Temperatures were warm, but not hot. Howie the Hawk showed up to get the festivities started and ran with our students. Wearing their class colors, our students looked like a beautiful rainbow as they ran each lap around our field.

Many of you came out to cheer for your students or jog with them. Thank you for supporting their efforts, and thank you for your generosity. As of last Thursday, we had surpassed our goal by 6% with a whopping total of $8208.74!

Our donation page will stay active through May 17. We will then announce our class winners and prizes.

We appreciate all that you do on behalf of our school and students! Our Fine Arts Programs thrive because of your support.

Blessings on your week,

Sherrie Gibelyou

Alumnus Mitch Pelissier has excellent basketball training sessions available in our own CCA gym this summer! Scan the QR code below to learn more.

Meal Train Request

On Sunday, April 14, CCA Cheer Coach Monica Flores suffered a major injury while practicing a brand-new stunt with her adult cheerleading team. Monica was thrown in the air and not caught properly, resulting in a broken tibia and bones above the ankle. She will undergo surgery this week.
Monica will use a knee scooter and have regular physical therapy to walk again in the coming months. Needless to say, the family can use some help while Monica is immobilized.
Concordia mom Heather J. has put together a Meal Train Sign-Up to support the family so Monica’s husband can focus on care of their girls, students Carolina and Nayeli, and her recovery over the next few weeks. Please consider supporting the family by donating a favorite nutritious meal, Door-Dash/Uber gift card, or restaurant gift card.
Please pray for our CCA family during this difficult and life-changing time.
