Principal's Corner

The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore. Psalm 121:8

Dear Families,

Some of our high schoolers had the adventure of their lives over Spring Break when they traveled with Mr. and Mrs. Scearce to Prague, Budapest, and Vienna through Education First Tours. Each year, our high school plans an international trip to amazing places around the world. The cost usually runs between $3700 and $4200 per student and is payable in several installments. Our students often work to raise the funding for themselves, which makes the trip that much more meaningful! Parents may go along for the experience with their students. CCA’s planned International travel is a great way to explore the world in a fun and safe manner with trusted adults from our school and community.

We love that we can make these opportunities available for our students. There are so many life lessons learned as students move beyond the walls of our school and familiarity of their home territories. Our students talk about these trips being a highlight of their high school experience!

Below are some pictures taken by our students during their time away this month.

Our Awesome Stem Cart

This year we made a commitment to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education with some exciting purchases. Grades K-5 are benefitting from a STEM cart full of tools, gadgets, and parts. With so many objects to choose from, the sky is the limit for active imaginations! This fully-loaded Makerspace cart was completely funded by the Neeb Family Foundation. We are so thankful to this charitable organization that grants funding each year to Christian education! Below are pictures of Mrs. Still’s 2nd grade class and some of our 4th and 5th graders with their projects.
