And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. Colossians 3:14
Dear Families,
We had a great morning sharing our school with many special guests yesterday! Our VIP/Grandparents’ Day is always one of my favorite days, and I loved seeing the fantastic turnout we had for our students.
The morning began with short performances from each grade. Miss Kvamme helped prepare grades K-4 for their musical selections. Mr. Boyt was away yesterday with his high school music students at the Clackamas Jazz Festival, so some of his middle school students stepped up to lead their performances, and they did an excellent job in his absence! The morning was topped off by 7th and 8th grades reciting their “Walk through the Bible” led by Mr. Hagen, and Christ’s journey depicted with scenes made from sticks that 8th grade masterfully performed to the song, “Joy Unto the World.”
Our guests then moved to classrooms where they enjoyed fellowship and yummy treats with their students. We wrapped up the morning with worship at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Pastor Joel gave a wonderful message about how Christ serves as our cornerstone to keep us on solid ground.
If you missed this special day, we invite you to be part of our celebrations next year. Watch for our advertisements in class newsletters and this bulletin. We would love for you to be our special guest for this event; it means so much to our students!

The Glodowskis are cherished members of our Concordia family. Karena has been ill and unable to work, and she recently lost her mom. We can help them in this time of need by supplying gift cards to local restaurants so they don’t have to think about meals for a while. You can bring gift cards to school during our school hours or donate online. Thank you for helping this great family!
