I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. Psalm 32:8
Dear Families,
I am happy to announce that we have a new 5th grade teacher coming to CCA this fall. Her name is Gracie Holdbrook, and she is excited to become part of the Concordia family. In a way, she already is, because she is married to Nathan Holdbrook, who went all the way through Concordia and graduated from our high school when it was still called Mount Rainier Lutheran High!
Gracie is currently teaching 4th grade at Nelson Elementary School in the Bethel School District. She comes to us with experience in grades 3-8 and an endorsement as an elementary mathematics specialist.
I am impressed with Gracie’s commitment to students and her passion for teaching. She is hoping to visit CCA and see our classrooms in action before the school year is over, so our students may have the opportunity to meet her before the new school year begins. I know they will enjoy getting to know her as I have.
I am still working to fill our 8th grade position and will be sure to update you when I have that spot filled.
In Christ,
Sherrie Gibelyou
