For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building. 1 Corinthians 3:9
Dear Families,
We have the privilege of having Pastor Tim Bayer from Our Savior Lutheran Church (OSLC) teach our Faith in Action class (a middle school elective) twice a week. While Pastor Tim was in SE Asia last week, I had the pleasure of escorting the class on a field trip to pack snacks for OSLC’s Backpacks 4 Kids program.
The class had already learned about this program from the Director of Outreach + Connections, Kristi Kellog, who visited CCA the week before to share some information and background about this ministry and its importance to the Franklin Pierce School District.
Working with school counselors in the Franklin Pierce School District, the Backpacks 4 Kids program identifies hungry children in district schools and supplies them with child-friendly food items to feed over 300 children through the weekend each week. While our Faith in Action students were at OSLC, they packed 400 bags of snacks. We were told that their 29 minutes of packing set a record!
I loved being able to see our students serving their extended community through this ministry. Many thanks to Pastor Tim and Kristi Kellog for working with us to make this possible for our middle schoolers.
In Christ,
Sherrie Gibelyou

The Hoops Invitational Tournament was no obstacle for our Mighty Hawks on Saturday, February 11. Starting strong, both girls’ and boys’ teams won their first games in a fast-paced, nail-biting fashion. Each team went on to win the tournament which featured play against 5 other schools – Hope, Zion, Faith, Grace Academy, and Cedar Park Christian. We are proud of you, Hawks!

We offer this discount to encourage all of our families to re-enroll early. Why? Early re-enrollment helps us with our planning for next year! It also secures a spot for you before new families begin to enroll. This is important to know because current enrollment trends indicate that space will be limited in many of our classrooms next year.
For those who wish to be considered for financial aid, please use this link.
Should you have questions, please contact Libby Glasser, 253-284-4433.
When using the roundabout in the morning to drop off children in grades K-3, please do not park in front of the 400 building (grades K-2). Pull forward as far as you can and do not leave your vehicle. This is a drop-off only to keep traffic flowing.
When picking up students at the end of the school day, please follow the flow of traffic. Wait patiently as we load the first few cars in line. Do not attempt to go around other vehicles in line. If your child does not come out right away, keep moving in the circle to keep traffic flowing.
This process takes time. If you are in a hurry or do not wish to wait in line, you may park in a stall and walk onto the blacktop to greet your child by the loading zone. Additional parking is available across the street at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church if all stalls are filled in our school lot.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping to keep everyone safe.
