For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Our last day before Christmas Break began on Friday with a very special chapel service. The Christmas Story was told by our students, simply and beautifully, through scripture and song.
I’d like to thank alumnus Jackson Young, for coming in to accompany us on piano, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders for singing “Oh Holy Night,” Mr. Boyt and Mr. Winterstein for their beautiful duet of “Silent Night,” and Juniper Garza for her awesome rendition of my personal favorite, “Mary, Did You Know.”
From all of us at Concordia Christian Academy, we pray you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Your donations made a huge difference. CCA sent a check to this ministry for $1740.17 on Friday! This provided for 50 baskets of holiday food for people in our extended community.
Our high schoolers packed boxes for these baskets last Thursday. Richard Simmons, the coordinator for Loaves and Fishes said, “Your kids were fantastic. It is always a pleasure to work with a group of well-behaved youth.”
THANK YOU CCA FAMILIES AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!
