For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9: 6
We are counting down to the last day before Christmas break! There is lots of excitement and MANY special programs and activities in the last couple of weeks before break. Our K-2 students sang their hearts out Thursday afternoon and evening in their Christmas program. Small children are always fun to watch perform because they are so transparent in their emotions – they put their whole bodies into interpreting the music as they sing! Their message was simple and pure – we are all part of God’s family, and he sent his son to save us.
During this season, in the hustle and bustle of all that is Christmas, we remember that there is no Christmas without Christ. He is the sole reason for the season!
We pray you can spend quality time with loved ones, keeping Christ at the center of your holiday gatherings. We have several partner churches offering services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Please see the information below for locations and times.
From all of us to all of you (our treasured students and families), we wish you a very Merry CHRISTmas!
In Christ,
Sherrie Gibelyou
