Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.
Proverbs 11:14
Dear Parents,
Digital safety is very important to me because I have seen firsthand the negative impacts of too much gaming and unlimited social media use on our youth. On Wednesday, November 5, CCA is excited to host Christian Hall, who will speak about staying safe online. Christian is part of the Safe Social Network, founded by Ben Tracy.
Christian spent years creating content for some of the biggest brands and artists in the world. He’s worked behind the scenes with major platforms and seen firsthand how today’s digital world is built to grab and hold our attention, especially our kids’.
In 2024, Christian traveled across the country documenting Ben Tracy’s 3,125-mile run across America for youth online safety. Along the way, he met families who had lost their children to online predators, dangerous social media challenges, and other devastating online harms. That journey opened his eyes and lit a fire in him.
Now, Christian is using his experience as a creator, gamer, and storyteller to help protect the next generation. He speaks honestly and directly about what’s really happening behind the screen and what parents, educators, and students can do about it.
I am inviting you, as parents and family members, to come and hear Christian speak in person. He will be talking to our high schoolers at 1 p.m. and Grades 5-8 at 2 p.m. in the gym. Both sessions are open to our families. You are welcome to attend one session or both!
In Christ,
